Uttar Pradesh: Schools have been ordered to remain closed for 15 days, with a tentative reopening date set for January 15.

Delhi: Schools in the national capital have also been closed for a period of 15 days, with a potential reopening date of January 16.

Punjab: Schools, which were originally scheduled to reopen on January 1, will remain closed due to the ongoing cold wave, with the new anticipated reopening date now set for January 7.

Rajasthan: Winter vacation began on December 25 and is still ongoing, with a tentative reopening date of January 6. However, this date may be extended depending on the weather conditions.

Haryana: Schools in Haryana will remain closed until January 15 due to the continued presence of dense fog.

Jammu and Kashmir: Due to the region’s typically severe winter climate, most schools in Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed until February 28.

Bihar: An official announcement has declared a winter vacation for students in grades 1 to 12 in Bihar schools from December 25 to December 31, 2024.
